Dr. Daniel Huffmire founded this Temecula practice with a clear purpose: to slow down, get to know each patient, and deliver treatment that is truly in their best interest. With a minimally invasive, biomimetic approach and a warm, welcoming environment, Trueform Dental is the kind of practice where patients feel cared for from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave.
Meet
Dr. Daniel Huffmire
Dr. Daniel Huffmire's path to dentistry started closer to home than most. Growing up, his mom had worked as a dental assistant before starting a family, and she still brought the kids to see her former dentist for their checkups. Those visits stuck with him. Years later, while weighing his options in college, he took an introductory dentistry course, started shadowing, and quickly realized it checked every box: a healthcare field, hands-on work, and technology that kept evolving.
Before dental school, Dr. Huffmire earned a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and spent two years working as an analytical chemist at a nutraceutical company. He then completed a Master's in Medical Science before going on to earn his dental degree and finishing a General Practice Residency at LSU in Baton Rouge. After residency, he pursued advanced training in biomimetic dentistry, an approach focused on preserving healthy tooth structure and restoring teeth in a way that works with their natural biology rather than against it. It's a philosophy that now shapes everything he does at Trueform Dental.
Dr. Huffmire founded Trueform Dental because he wanted to build something different: a practice where patients get the time, attention, and honest guidance they deserve. He believes the best dental care isn't about doing more, it's about doing what's right, and that means taking the time to truly understand each patient's needs before making any recommendations. When he's not in the office, Dr. Huffmire is most likely spending time with his wife and five kids, or sneaking in a weightlifting session, a skate session, or a ride on the mountain bike trails.
